Individually planned internship

Students also can choose individually provided internship placements. If the student already has a full-time or part-time position in hospitality industry and wishes to continue it, HOTEL SCHOOL RIGA will accept this position and count it towards the internship report.
This option will be especially useful for e-Learning students, as they are permitted to have their internships in their residential countries and then provide a full report on it.

I had my summer internship in Berlin, Germany, for two months. I was working as a breakfast waitress in 4 star hotel. My daily duties mainly included, but was not limited to - serving guests, setting up and tearing down breakfast buffet as well as laying tables for the next day.
Challenge for me definitely was due to my shifts getting up really early, everyday at 4 o` clock in the morning as I was not used to such regime, however after already first week it worked out fine.  As Berlin is vibrant city with rich history and specific charm I definitely recommend for everyone to use the opportunity of having an internship abroad even if you are not really good at German language do not afraid to use such chance because it will be an experience to remember and also a plus for your CV in further careers :)

Nikita
I got my summer internship in Spain, Calella (near Barcelona) in a 4-star hotel Bon Repos. I really liked the internship. I got Erasmus+ scholarship and support, so my finances were good and i have free time to enjoy it. For my summer internship I got participate in a lot of events in the field of hospitality and service, learned languages and became more open-minded person.
I am very grateful to Hotel School Riga and Stage and GO for this great time in Spain! :)

Assyl & Dana
Dana: I had great opportunity to have summer internship in Spain. My internship held in small city Malgrat de Mar on the coast Costa Bravo. I had experience in the restaurant of 4 star hotel. We worked 6 days per week and just 1 day off. Three daily shifts: breakfast, lunch, dinner. On my free days I went to the nearest cities. Spain was very nice and unforgettable. I am glad, that I had such experience.
Assyl: I had an opportunity to do my first summer internship in Spain. That was a great chance to reach new distance and work in multicultural environment. To meet and work with people from different countries, gain experience in customer service and learn new cultures. Moreover, this internship helped in self development and improving skills, as communication and some technical.  I became more open minded and independent. Learned to work in small and big teams.
